Nejc Geržinič

Nejc Geržinič completed his earlier education in Slovenia, obtaining a Bachelor's degree at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport where he completed the program of Transport Technology. He continued his education at the TU Delft, in the program of Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL), with the Design specialisation. His Master's thesis focused on choice modelling and how respondents use decision rules in a sequential best-worst stated choice survey, on the topic of Park-and-Ride facility choice.

He is doing his PhD within the Smart Public Transport Lab, on the CriticalMaaS project, analysing the behaviour of travellers and their preferences in the setting of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), primarily using choice modelling. He is interested in identifying how the emerging driverless car technology can be coupled with traditional mass transit to maximise the benefit of both the travellers and society.
