Léonie Heydenrijk-Ottens was a PhD candidate at the DiTTlab and Smart Public Transport Lab of the Delft University of Technology. She has a MSc in Applied Mathematics with a thesis on constrained optimal control of nonlinear systems governed by Navier-Stokes equations. She works on the H2020 project My-TRAC, which develops an advanced personal travel companion. Léonie’s research topics include pattern recognition and profiling (public transport) of travel behaviour, as well as iterative learning processes in intelligent travel recommendation systems.
