Arjan de Ruijter

After completing a bachelor Civil Engineering at the University of Twente, Arjan
moved to the other side of the country to follow the master program Transport,
Infrastructure & Logistics (TIL) at Delft University of Technology. In his thesis,
he aimed to get insights into the efficiency and level of service that a ride-sharing
service can offer under different demand and supply conditions.
Arjan joined the Smart Public Transport Lab in June 2019 as a PhD student in the
CriticalMaaS project. His focus within this project is on the transition phases in MaaS
employment and specifically the conditions needed to generate economies of
scales that can be beneficial to service quality and operational efficiency of MaaS
